Living Trident
Inspired by Ukraine's national symbol, the trident, this sculpture is a symbol of strength and resurrection. The trident, traditionally a weapon, is here turned upside down and becomes a symbolic representation of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The weapon is dismantled, and the being comes alive. The sculpture is made of raku clay and glazed with a mixture of quartz and sandstone collected in Ukraine.10% goes to Folkekirkens Nødhjælp Ukraine11.550 DKR.
Torso, Mutilated Soldier
This work is a study in deformity and amputation, inspired by both photos of mutilated war victims in Ukraine and a ballet performance featuring injured veterans from Afghanistan.Where we connect with each other on a deeper level is often through the least beautiful, all the broken parts, all the sharp edges. That is why we should allow the ugly and imperfect more space to exist. The sculpture is made of white clay and glazed with jasper stones from Ukraine.4575 DKR
Body Rising Again
A contemplation of resurrection and healing, both in a spiritual and physical sense. The body in the sculpture is perforated and damaged, but rises again. The glaze is made from stones from Denmark, Spain, and Ukraine.10% goes to Folkekirkens Nødhjælp Ukraine5500 DKR
Europe Watching
